The title sends Back Mountain to next week’s Pennsylvania State Tournament in Selinsgrove.

Strong pitching, timely defense, and a pair of key runs carried Valley Little League to a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Christmas City on Friday afternoon in the Pennsylvania 8-9-10 Little League Softball State Tournament in Williamsport. The win sends Valley into the next round, where they’ll face West Suburban this evening after tournament organizers adjusted the schedule due to the forecast.

Runs came in waves Wednesday night as District 32 champion Green Ridge Little League and District 16 champion Mountain Top combined for 29 runs in an entertaining Section 5 9-11 All-Star Tournament matchup. After Mountain Top stormed back with an eight-run fourth inning to seize the lead, Green Ridge answered with eight runs of its own in the bottom half before adding seven more in the fifth to earn a 20-9 victory.

Behind a dominant outing from Evan Ross, a clutch RBI double from Max Shursky, and a game-winning run in the sixth, Abington Little League Blue edged Moosic, 3-2, Saturday afternoon at the Ackerly Fairgrounds to capture the 2026 District 17 Majors Championship. The victory sends Abington to next week’s Section 5 Tournament as the Abington Little League All-Stars begin their quest to return to the Pennsylvania Little League State Tournament after last summer’s memorable run.

When the skies opened up, so did the Carbino bats. Carbino Club Archbald poured on the offense, scoring 11 unanswered runs to capture the District 32 Majors Championship over Green Ridge Little League and punch its ticket to the Section 5 Tournament.

Valley All Stars 8-9-10 Minors secured a 7-0 victory over Old Forge LL Minors All-Stars. Nora Piercy and Grace Eboli combined for 17 strikeouts, while the offense collected nine hits.

Mt Top 11\'s All-Star 2026 defeated Hazle Twp. 11u All-Star 2026 by a score of 17-2. Andrew Petros led Mt Top\'s dominant offense with two doubles, three RBIs, and three runs.

Championship softball was on full display Thursday night at Miles Street Community Park as Old Forge and North Pocono delivered an exciting District 17 8-9-10 Championship game before Old Forge pulled away to earn the title and a berth in next week’s Section 5 Tournament hosted at Mid Valley.

Freeland 11-12 All-stars secured a 3-1 victory over MALL 12 All Stars 2026. Kavon Cottle dominated with 16 strikeouts and an RBI double.

A classic pitchers duel turned into a nail biter Wednesday evening as Carbino Club All Stars 12U manufactured just enough offense to secure a hard fought 2 to 0 victory over Mountain Top 11/12. Elizabeth Troy earned the win for Carbino, tossing five and two thirds shutout innings, while Mountain Tops Emily Wenner turned in a dominant performance in the circle despite the tough loss, racking up an incredible 11 strikeouts over five innings.
