North Scranton Little League jumped out to a four-run first-inning lead, but Carbondale Little League answered with a dramatic comeback, highlighted by an eight-run fifth inning, to earn a 14-7 victory Wednesday evening at Dickson City Crystal Park in District 32 Minors Baseball pool play.

The road to the title still runs through the champs. Ava Hazelton carved through the Chargerettes, the Spartanettes struck early and often, and Mid Valley is heading back to the District 2 Class 3A championship game where a collision with top-seeded Lake-Lehman now waits.

Mountain View and Carbondale Area turned a Unified Bocce match into a celebration of teamwork and inclusion.
