For the fifth consecutive summer, the Nittany Lion Summer Impact Camp transformed Riverfront Sports into a classroom for football, leadership, and community. Current Penn State student-athletes, collegiate standouts, local coaches, and community partners came together to provide hundreds of young athletes with a free, first-class experience, while North Pocono graduate Evan Wolff’s return as a Penn State linebacker highlighted the camp’s growing tradition of local athletes giving back.

Track has become Gavin’s true passion. Competing since seventh grade, he specializes in sprinting events, including the 100m, 200m, 4x100, and 4x400 relays. This season, he reached a major milestone by breaking his school’s 200m record, clocking an impressive 21.54 seconds and surpassing the previous mark of 22.8. The achievement reflects years of dedication and steady progression.

As the dust settled on a historic North Pocono football season, Head Coach Greg Dolhan reflected on a year defined by resilience, growth, and community pride. He described the team as “walking on air,” emphasizing both gratitude for departing seniors and a strong focus on turning the page toward the future. Throughout the season, challenges such as key injuries forced players and coaches to adapt quickly, reinforcing trust and teamwork across the roster. Dolhan credited his athletes for their dedication, noting their commitment in the weight room and eagerness to build on success. Beyond wins and losses, he highlighted the powerful connection formed between the team and the community, from packed stands to shared Friday night traditions. Looking ahead, Dolhan’s goal remains clear: develop players as people first and maximize the team’s potential. While replacing key seniors won’t be easy, he believes the foundation is strong and the program is ready for what comes next.
