Max V launched a home run, drove in five runs, and struck out nine over four dominant innings as Abington All Stars 12U rolled to a 13-0 shutout win on Saturday.

Quinn B led the way with four RBIs while Grace E struck out seven in the circle, helping Mid Valley Little League Softball Minors earn a 16-0 win over Mountain Top on Saturday.

Owen Mills drove in two runs and Mason Tuft delivered a complete-game gem as Mid Valley topped Christy Mathewson 5-1 in a District 32 12U elimination game Thursday at Tom Bell Little League Field. Brendan Thatcher added an RBI single and Tuft struck out seven in six strong innings to send Mid Valley to the championship game Saturday against Lakeland.

Marek Samsell’s clutch double highlighted a five-run fourth inning, and Jack Pierson went the distance on the mound as Moosic knocked off West Scranton 7-4 in Thursday’s District 17 Majors Division elimination game at West Scranton Little League. With the win, Moosic advances to face Abington in Saturday’s championship showdown.

Fueled by a six-run third inning and a dominant effort in the circle from Serena Lesh, the North Pocono Dandy Lion All-Stars rolled to a 12-1 win over Greater Wyoming Area on Thursday in Majors Division sectional elimination action at Bobby Strish Field. With the win, North Pocono advances to face Valley View in the July 4th championship showdown.

Down 3-0 early, Abington roared back behind a towering home run from Evan Ross and a shutdown relief effort by Vincie Pricci to defeat South Scranton 5-3 and claim the District 17 11U championship at Ackerly Field. With the win, Abington punches its ticket to the Section 5 tournament.

Max Vazquez launched a game-changing three-run homer as Abington roared back from an early deficit to defeat Moosic 10-5 in a spirited District 17 12U elimination tournament matchup. Penn Eckenrode added three RBIs of his own, while Justin Johnson and Vazquez combined for a strong effort on the mound to keep Abington’s tournament run alive.
