Rally in the Valley for a Cause, Raising nearly $8,000 for Cancer Awareness Mid Valley Stadium, October 5, 2024 — In a remarkable display of community spirit and determination, the Mid Valley and Valley View girls’ soccer teams came together for a special “Rally in the Valley” event at Mid Valley Stadium. Organized by the Mid Valley girls’ soccer team, the event, part of the Coaches vs. Cancer initiative, ran from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and featured soccer matches, basket raffles, food, and the sale of custom t-shirts to support cancer awareness and research. By the end of the day, the event raised nearly $8,000 in proceeds for cancer-related causes.
