The game, played at Abington Heights under cold and rainy conditions, marked the first loss of the season for the Comets, who entered the matchup with a perfect 6-0 record.

The Cavaliers overwhelmed North Pocono with a 15-1 victory, Crestwood’s girls edged Delaware Valley in a tight 10-8 battle, and Abington Heights rolled past Wyoming Area 16-2, showcasing firepower and depth across the board.

Abington Heights’ offensive firepower was on full display as Gavin Anders and Logan Fedor led the way, and Colton Naholnik anchored a strong defensive effort in net, helping the Comets cruise to a 13-4 home win over Danville.
