Despite Nanticoke’s fourth-quarter rally, clutch performances from Gillian Parsons and strong free-throw shooting sealed the win for the Lady Royals.

Hazleton Area continued their undefeated streak with a commanding 81-39 victory over Dallas. Mariah Marolo led the Cougars with 21 points, including five three-pointers, while Alexis Reimold added 20 points, showcasing a balanced offensive attack. Despite a strong start from Dallas, led by Odessa Kanton\'s 13 points and Caitlyn Mizzer\'s 11, Hazleton\'s explosive second quarter sealed the game. With the win, Hazleton Area clinches the Division 1 regular season championship. Sophia Shults contributed 18 points, showcasing aggressive drives and strong finishes, while Alexis Reimold added 14 points with sharp shooting. Despite the loss, Valley West saw standout performances from Aniyah Davis and Anya Richet, each scoring nine points.

Dallas, PA – The Dallas Mountaineers secured a commanding 68-50 victory over the Pittston Area Patriots on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, showcasing a dominant performance from beyond the arc. Dallas connected on 15 three-pointers, overwhelming Pittston Area’s defense and solidifying their place as one of the region’s top teams.

The Montrose Meteors secured a hard-fought 71-65 victory over the Blue Ridge Raiders in a meaningful matchup that extended beyond the scoreboard. Hosted as Blue Ridge’s Coaches vs. Cancer awareness event, the night was dedicated to supporting Blue Ridge graduate Cody Vincent, who was unable to attend due to illness. Proceeds from the event, including a basket raffle and T-shirt sales, were donated to Vincent and his family, who recently welcomed a newborn.

Scranton Prep stages a thrilling fourth-quarter comeback to edge Valley View 54-51 at the Xavier Center. Brycen Martin led the Cavaliers with 14 points, sinking six three-pointers, while Packy Doherty added 11 points, including key free throws late. Scranton Prep’s eight three-pointers proved decisive, outpacing Valley View’s two. The Sonny Crotti Camp for a Cause, now in its second year, is a community-driven football camp honoring the legacy of Sonny Crotti, a former Dunmore Buck who courageously battled cancer. An event led by Joe Crotti and Ryan Runco, this event brings together athletes, coaches, and supporters to raise funds for two young warriors: Sebastian Trotta and Gio Lucido.
