Elk Lake flexed its offensive muscle Saturday with a rare feat—four home runs by players from four different grade levels—as the Lady Warriors rolled to an 18-3 mercy-rule win over Montrose.

Dunmore stormed into the District II Class 3A championship with a 15-0 semifinal win over Montrose, powered by a 3-hit, 5-RBI performance from Evan Mizenko and a shutout on the mound by Max Forgione.

Mountain View edged Montrose 5-4 on Thursday afternoon in a back-and-forth game that saw the Eagles take the lead for good in the bottom of the sixth.

MONTROSE, CO — The Montrose Varsity Meteors pulled off a stunning comeback on Wednesday night, rallying in the final innings to edge the Mountain View Varsity Eagles 8-7 in a dramatic, back-and-forth battle.

The Spartans came out swinging and never let up. Despite a third-inning grand slam from Montroses Hudson Aukema that briefly shifted the momentum, Mid Valley's early offensive explosion—powered by Carter Musewicz and Brett Yanoski—kept the Spartans firmly in control. A clean game on defense and clutch hitting sealed a 15–5 statement win at home.

Montrose powered past Tunkhannock in a high-scoring 32-14 victory, led by Hudson Aukemas 8-RBI explosion and a relentless offensive onslaught that saw the Meteors score in every inning. Despite a grand slam from Ethan Dominick, the Tigers couldn’t keep pace in this unforgettable barn burner.

Montrose secured a 48-35 win over Blue Ridge, led by Sadie Jones’ 13 points and Carly Freys nine. A balanced offensive effort helped the Lady Meteors improve to 10-9 (9-2 conference). Despite the loss, Abigail Gelinger shined for Blue Ridge, scoring 28 of the teams 35 points, including 19 in the first half.
