Anthracite FC Clinches EDP Spring Kickoff Championship Anthracite FC 2010B AFC Bayern dominated at the EDP Spring Kickoff, securing the championship with a commanding 3-0 victory in their final match. Tied with HEX FC Dominion heading into the last game, AFC delivered under pressure, finishing unbeaten with 2 wins and 1 draw. Their balanced attack and rock-solid defense proved the difference, setting the tone for a promising season ahead.

After MMI took the lead on a buzzer beating three pointer, Susquehanna head coach Jeff Baldwin sat his team down. “I told them you gotta really work hard, you gotta work this next quarter to win this, they aren’t going away.” The Lady Sabers got six straight points from Lauren Huyck to build a five point lead and held on to defeat MMI Prep to win the District 2 Single-A Championship 37-34. Huyck scored a game high 17 points and Kiera Burke added 10 for the District Champions.

By the time the final buzzer sounded, Berwick had taken control, finishing with a comfortable 60-31 victory. The second half saw Berwick extend their lead, ultimately outscoring MMI by a large margin. MMI's early promise in the first half simply wasn't enough to withstand Berwick's all-around performance.

Wyoming Area’s balanced offense and relentless defense were the keys to their 59-33 victory over MMI Prep. Led by Luke Kopetchny’s 19 points, the Warriors outperformed in every facet, setting the stage for a strong second half of the season.
