Wisconsin football topped Penn State 24-20 in Happy Valley, dropping the Nittany Lions out of the AP Top 25

Wisconsin scored late in the fourth quarter to hand Penn State a 24-20 loss on Saturday in University Park, ending a six-game winning streak the Nittany Lions had held over the Badgers in Happy Valley.

The unranked Badgers improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Big Ten, while Penn State fell to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play. Wisconsin's winning points came in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, sealing the upset over the Nittany Lions.

The result snapped Penn State's six-game winning streak over Wisconsin and marked the Badgers' first win in Beaver Stadium since 2003. Penn State entered the game with a 5-3 home record against Wisconsin and still leads the all time series, 12+

The loss had ranking implications for Penn State. In the AP Top 25 released Sunday, the Nittany Lions dropped out of the poll entirely after being ranked 13th. In the AFCA Coaches Poll, Penn State fell to 22nd after previously sitting at 14th.

Penn State will look to regroup this Friday on the road against Northwestern.
