The North Pocono Lady Trojans secured a decisive 7-2 victory over West Scranton on Saturday, showcasing a strong offensive rebound after an early deficit.

West Scranton struck first in the opening inning, with Mckenna Brudnicki singling to bring in a run, and Brianna Connor grounding into a fielder's choice to score another, putting them up 2-0.

However, North Pocono quickly answered in the bottom of the first, evening the score and then taking the lead. Avarie Roscioli connected for a double, driving in two runs, followed by an Anna Havenstrite single that scored one more, giving the Lady Trojans a 3-2 advantage. North Pocono extended its lead in the second inning when Riley Grambo doubled to left field, adding another run to the board. The Lady Trojans continued to build on their momentum in the third, as Cameron Forgione grounded out to bring in a run, further solidifying their control of the game.

Amelia Bell earned the win for North Pocono, delivering a complete game performance. The right-handed pitcher allowed seven hits and three runs, with only one earned, over seven innings. She also fanned six batters and walked two. On the opposing side, Kaleiah Connor took the loss for West Scranton, pitching six innings and giving up seven runs, five of which were earned, on 10 hits while striking out three and walking none.

North Pocono's offense was potent, collecting 10 hits throughout the contest. Riley Grambo was a standout at the plate, driving in three runs and going 2-for-2 on the day. Isabella Forgione, Avarie Roscioli, and Anna Havenstrite each contributed two hits for the Lady Trojans. For West Scranton, Mckenna Brudnicki, Brianna Connor, and Mia Tallo each drove in one run, with Mia Tallo leading the team with two hits in four at bats.
