Scranton Prep delivered a commanding performance today, overpowering Trinity with a final score of 16-2 in what proved to be an offensive clinic. From the outset, Scranton Prep’s attack was relentless, setting the tone for a high-scoring affair that Trinity struggled to contain.
Owen McPartland led Scranton Prep’s charge, finding the back of the net five times and adding an assist for a stellar six-point outing. Not far behind, Will McPartland contributed significantly with four goals and one assist, showcasing his scoring prowess. Mackey Lynett added three goals and two assists, further fueling the offensive explosion, while Braedon McPartland chipped in with three goals and one assist of his own. Robert Hogan also got in on the action, scoring one goal. Colin McPartland orchestrated several plays, dishing out two assists to his teammates. On the defensive end, Scranton Prep’s goalkeepers, James Stallman and Packy James, combined for nine saves, with James Stallman making six stops and Packy James tallying three.
Trinity, despite the challenging scoreline, battled hard. Mason Boyer and Elias Cooper each managed to break through Scranton Prep’s defense to score a goal, providing glimpses of their offensive capabilities. Parker Will also contributed an assist for Trinity. In goal, Ben Hansen made three saves, and Dominic Brown added one save, as they faced a barrage of shots throughout the contest.
