Vikings Dominate Lakeland on the Track with All-Around Performances
Riverside asserted its dominance in a commanding 99-51 victory over Lakeland in a Lackawanna Track Conference Division III meet. The Vikings showcased exceptional talent across multiple events, highlighted by Brayden Rose's remarkable hat trick in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump. Carmelo Barnett proved to be a force on the hurdles, sweeping both the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. In the throwing events, Tomas Olmos delivered for Riverside, clinching victories in both the shot put and discus.
Lakeland fought hard, with Chase Rosenkrans leading their efforts by securing wins in both the 200 meter and 400 meter dashes. The individual performances were strong, but Riverside's depth across the board ultimately secured the significant win.
