The defending champs weren’t interested in giving up their throne.

Northwestern Lehigh stormed out early in the Colonial League boys championship, but Catasaqua refused to fade quietly, turning the fourth quarter into must-see action inside Freedom High School.

The Tigers leaned on balance and poise.

Cannon Fitch delivered a game-high 19 points and calmly knocked down late free throws in the closing seconds to slam the door. Mason Bollinger was electric early, pouring in 13 of his 15 in the first half as Northwestern set the tone. Brady Zimmerman and Brady Krimmel each added 11, keeping the offense steady throughout.

But Catty had a late roar left.

Aalani Nix caught fire down the stretch, draining clutch threes and finishing with a team-high 17 to help knot things up late in the fourth. Hamaad Jenkins added 15, giving the Rough Riders the push they needed to turn it into a thriller.

Still, when the moment demanded execution, the Tigers executed.

Free throws. Stops. Composure.

Back-to-back Colonial League champions.

Big stage. Big response. Repeat secured.

A special thank you to Lehigh Valley Health Network for their continued commitment to local athletics and for powering championship moments across the Colonial League. Their support helps elevate these student-athletes and the communities that rally behind them.
