Pittston Area Fends Off Wilkes-Barre Area on the Links to Remain Undefeated

Pittston Area defeated Wilkes-Barre Area 164-172 in a Wyoming Valley Golf League match at Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course.
Tyler Daugherty of Wilkes-Barre Area earned medalist honors by shooting a match-low 38 on the par-36 course. Matt Clark followed for Wilkes-Barre Area with a 39, while Brayden Richard shot a 46, Ben Thomas shot a 49, Gavin Regan shot a 50, and Jeremy Rodzinak posted a 53.
Marco Agolino led Pittston Area with a team-best score of 40. Gianni Bartorillo and Ryan Noone each carded rounds of 41, while Ryan Tonte finished with a 42. Ryan Reza and David Homschek both recorded rounds of 43.
The win moved Pittston Area to 7-0 on the season heading into a Friday match against Wyoming Valley West.
