Abington Heights showcased a dominant performance on Friday, defeating Wallenpaupack Area 12-0, highlighted by a perfect game thrown by Adrianna Conrad. Conrad was exceptional in the circle, holding Wallenpaupack Area without a baserunner over five innings, striking out eight of the 15 batters she faced without issuing a single walk.

The Abington Heights offense wasted no time, establishing an early lead in the first inning. Avary Brister singled to drive in the first run, followed by an Isabella DeRiggi single that scored another. Evelyn Henkels then launched a three-run home run to left field, giving Abington Heights a comfortable cushion.

The Comets continued their offensive onslaught in the second inning. Avary Brister doubled to center field, and Isabella DeRiggi followed with another single to center field, with each play adding a run to the scoreboard. Abington Heights exploded for five more runs in the third inning on five hits. Avery Venesky contributed with a double, scoring one run, and Eva Kane doubled for another RBI. Adrianna Conrad helped her own cause with a two-run single, before Avary Brister capped off the scoring with her solo home run to right field.

Wallenpaupack Area pitcher Alexa Laing took the loss, allowing 12 runs on 15 hits while striking out one and walking two over four innings of work. The Wallenpaupack Area offense was unable to find any rhythm against Adrianna Conrad's stellar pitching.
