On the biggest stage in District 2 at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Old Forge didn’t just win the 2A boys championship — they owned it. The Blue Devils raced out to a 26-4 lead after one quarter, stretched it to 43-12 at halftime, and never let the moment slip away in a 69-34 victory over Susquehanna.
WILKES-BARRE — On championship night at Mohegan Sun Arena, it was poise, depth, and star power that ultimately separated Scranton Prep from Dallas.
At Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza, the game shifted in the final eight minutes. Wyoming Seminary Blue Knights controlled the first three quarters with steady pressure defense and built a 10-point lead heading into the fourth. But Mountain View Lady Eagles responded late, outscoring Seminary 20-6 in the final frame to earn a 47-43 victory. Addison Kilmer finished with 31 points, while Aubrey Sanders added 14. Ella Stambaugh led Seminary with 16 points. A strong finish ultimately decided the Class 2A championship.
Back-and-forth. Possession by possession. No breathing room. With Valley View refusing to fade, Scranton Prep delivered in the closing minutes at Mohegan Arena, clamping down defensively and knocking down clutch free throws to claim its fourth straight District 2 championship.
For three quarters, it felt like Dunmore’s night. But champions don’t panic, they adjust. And when the lights burned brightest in the fourth, Riverside’s stars answered, one possession at a time, until the crown stayed exactly where it’s been.
Four Lewisburg starters reached double figure scoring and rebounding as the Green Dragons punched their ticket to the PIAA 4A State Tournament. The Valley View Cougars 4th Grade Girls Travel Team went a perfect 3-0 at the Back Mountain Girls Shootout, earning the 4th Grade A Division championship and securing a spot in the State Championship set for March 13-15 in State College.

Behind Xaivier Jackson\'s 16, the Selinsgrove Seals were able to prevail over Bangor Area, 49-45. Noah Walter scored seven points and added nine rebounds. A combination of Jack Piecuch and the rest of the Seals defense helped Selinsgrove get a district playoff win, despite Jason Marcantonis\' 23-point scoring effort.

Holy Redeemer delivered a complete team performance Friday night, pulling away in the middle quarters to defeat Lake-Lehman 61–44 in the District 2 Class 3A semifinals and punch their ticket to the championship game.
