O'Brien, Kimble share medalist honors with 40s to pace Riverside victory

Riverside defeated Forest City 165-171 on the back nine in a Lackawanna League boys golf match at par-35 Pine Hills.
Team scoring counted the top four individual rounds. Co-medalists Jake O'Brien and Alex Kimble paced Riverside by each shooting a 40. Pat Lavelle carded a 42, Riley Odzana recorded a 43, and Bill Shea posted a 44. Evan Slocum shot a 55 for Riverside, while alternates Cole Marsala and TJ Celuck recorded rounds of 51 and 56, respectively. O'Brien recorded a birdie on hole 10, and Odzana made a birdie on hole 13.
Cece Franks led Forest City with a team-low score of 41. Brody O'Neill followed with a 42, while TJ Collins and Kennedy Walker each turned in rounds of 44. Hayden Haggerty posted a 45, and Dylan Erdmann finished with a 49. In alternate individual play, Sophia Lombardi shot 52 and Wyatt Reynolds carded a 53. Collins recorded a birdie on hole 18.
