STATE COLLEGE, PA — March 1, 2026 — Julia Natitus of Dallas High School won the girls’ 60-meter hurdles at the PTFCA Indoor State Championships, held at the Multisport Indoor Facility on the campus of Penn State University.

Natitus crossed the line in 8.44 seconds, recording a personal best and earning the indoor state championship in the event. The performance marked a major milestone in her career and highlighted her continued rise among Pennsylvania’s top hurdlers.

Her success indoors follows a demanding offseason dedicated to strength development, speed training, and technical refinement. Natitus has consistently invested time in the weight room and on the track, focusing on improving power, efficiency between hurdles, and overall race execution — work that has translated directly to performance on the state’s biggest stage.

The indoor title adds to an already accomplished résumé at the state level. At the PIAA Class 3A Track and Field Championships in 2025, Natitus earned two outdoor state medals. She placed 4th in the 100-meter hurdles (14.32) and 5th in the 300-meter hurdles (43.61), establishing herself as one of the state’s premier competitors in both hurdle events.

With outdoor state medals already secured last spring and now an indoor state championship to her name, Natitus continues to build one of the most accomplished hurdle careers in recent Dallas program history.
