Mt View Fends Off Blue Ridge to Seize Two-Stroke Win at Tall Pines

Mt. View secured a 175-177 victory over Blue Ridge in a golf match held at Tall Pines Players Club on a par-35 course.
Coe Masters led Mt. View by posting a team-best round of 40. Corey Trichilo carded a 44, Jesse Keating turned in a 45, and Logan Thatcher recorded a 46 to complete Mt. View's four counting scores. Emma Thatcher finished with a 49 and Landon Weida shot a 50. In alternate individual play, Jordan Jagger recorded a 45, Gage Mead shot a 48, and Charley Smith finished with a 50.
Jax Decker of Blue Ridge earned match medalist honors with an individual low score of 39. Chris Kowalewski shot a 44, while Tyler Soden, Nathan Kilmer, and Grayson Bishop each posted scores of 47 to round out the Blue Ridge lineup alongside Brennan Woosman, who carded a 50. Kilmer provided a key highlight by chipping in on the 12th hole for birdie.
