Moore, Kimble Share Medalist Honors With 34s in Tight Lackawanna League Duel

Mid Valley earned a 150-152 victory over Riverside in a Lackawanna League boys golf match played at the par-33 Scott Greens course.
Bobby Moore and Alex Kimble shared match medalist honors after each shooting a 1-over-par 34. Moore paced Mid Valley, highlighted by birdies on the seventh and ninth holes. Ian Scanlon followed with a 36, Connor Perna recorded a 39, and Lucas Zuraski posted a 41 to complete Mid Valley's four counting scores. Aaron Merrifield shot a 42, Colin Burns carded a 44, and alternate Xavier Franklin added a 40.
Kimble led Riverside with his round of 34, which included birdies on the first and fourth holes. Jake O'Brien carded a 35, Riley Odzana finished with a 41, and Bill Shea registered a 42 to cap the scoring for Riverside. Pat Lavelle and Evan Slocum both recorded rounds of 44, and alternate Cole Marsala also shot a 44.
