Montrose Varsity Competition Cheer Captures Grand Champion Title in Rochester
The Montrose Varsity Competition Cheer team turned in a flawless performance Sunday at the Coast 2 Coast Hardrock Championship in Rochester, New York, bringing home multiple top honors after a strong showing on the mat.
Competing with a game day style routine, Montrose hit zero, meaning the performance was completed without any deductions. The clean routine powered the team to a first place finish in its division, while also earning Level Champion honors. By the end of the competition, Montrose was also crowned Grand Champion of the event.
The victory highlights the team’s preparation and execution as they continue their competitive season. Montrose will now look ahead to its next event when the team travels to Trenton, New Jersey to compete at the All Out Cheer Nationals on March 28.
