Senior night energy and a first-inning offensive explosion made for a pretty memorable Friday evening at North Pocono. Before the crowd could even settle in, the Lady Trojans were already piling up runs on the way to a dominant 13-1 win over Delaware Valley.

With seniors Olivia Charles, Amelia Bell, and Paige Dymek honored before first pitch, North Pocono delivered the kind of performance that matched the occasion.

The Lady Trojans erupted for seven runs in the opening inning and never looked back. Isabella Forgione opened the scoring with an RBI double, Riley Grambo followed with a run-scoring single, and Avarie Roscioli added another RBI double as the lineup quickly found its rhythm.

Olivia Charles and Cameron Forgione each worked bases-loaded walks, while senior Amelia Bell capped the inning with a two-run double to blow the game open early.

Delaware Valley answered with a sacrifice fly from Isabella Stahlman in the top of the first, but North Pocono continued to control the pace throughout the night.

The Lady Trojans added six more runs in the sixth inning behind RBI hits from Roscioli, Ariella Bell, and Charles before senior Paige Dymek delivered the biggest hit of the frame… a three-run double that put the finishing touches on the win.

Amelia Bell also shined in the circle, striking out eight over six innings while allowing just one run on four hits.

North Pocono totaled 10 hits and showed patience throughout the lineup, drawing nine walks in another complete offensive showing.

Roscioli and Amelia Bell each collected two hits, while Dymek drove in three runs from the bottom of the order. Cameron Forgione also reached base three times via walk.

Defensively, the Lady Trojans played a clean game without committing an error, with Anna Havenstrite leading the way in the field.

Delaware Valley received hits from Emma Weimer, Emily Sullivan, Samantha Baumann, and H. Olcott, while Stahlman drove in the Lady Warriors’ lone run.

On a night dedicated to celebrating the seniors, North Pocono made sure the result matched the atmosphere.
