The North Pocono Varsity Lady Trojans wasted no time setting the tone on Saturday afternoon, leveraging a barrage of early offense and lockdown pitching to secure a commanding 9-3 victory over East Stroudsburg South.

Right out of the gate, North Pocono’s lineup proved too much to handle. Patient plate appearances in the top of the first inning set the table, highlighted by Riley Grambo (#13) drawing a bases-loaded walk to force in the game's first run. Anna Clementoni followed up by putting the ball in play, driving in two more to give the Lady Trojans a quick 3-0 cushion.

The offensive clinic continued in the second inning. Olivia Charles, Amelia Bell, and Avarie Roscioli strung together a series of RBI singles, effectively doubling the lead and putting East Stroudsburg South in a deep 6-0 hole before they could even find their footing.

In the circle, Amelia Bell was masterful for North Pocono. The starting pitcher earned the win by keeping the opposition off-balance, tossing four strong innings while allowing just two hits and one unearned run. She struck out four batters and issued only a single walk. Anna Clementoni took over in relief, navigating the final three frames and striking out three to close the door.

East Stroudsburg South showed signs of life in the middle innings. They pushed a run across in the fourth and capitalized in the sixth with RBIs from Emily Ehrhardt and Mayla Mathew. However, the early deficit, combined with a flawless defensive performance by North Pocono—who committed zero errors on the day—ultimately kept a comeback out of reach.
