West Scranton used a pair of explosive middle innings to pull away from Delaware Valley and never looked back.
The Lady Invaders opened the scoring in the first, but Delaware Valley answered in the third when Isabella Stahlman delivered a sacrifice fly to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead.
That advantage was short-lived.
West Scranton responded immediately in the bottom of the third with five runs on four hits to take control. The biggest swing came from Sophia Deluca, who launched a two-run homer to left field as the Invaders surged ahead 6-2.
The offense kept rolling in the fourth inning, when West Scranton added six more runs. Mckenna Brudnicki drove in two with a single, Kaleiah Connor added an RBI hit, Mia Tallo doubled home two more, and another run scored on a dropped third strike.
Connor also handled the work in the circle, pitching five innings while allowing just two unearned runs on four hits.
Deluca and Tallo each collected two hits, while Julia Farkaly, Deluca, Brudnicki, Tallo, and Connor all finished with two RBIs for West Scranton.
Delaware Valley was led by Emily Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 at the plate, while Stahlman drove in a run.
Once West Scranton broke through in the third, the Invaders had all the momentum they needed.
