Honesdale defeated Scranton 127 to 160 in a Lackawanna League girls golf match at Pinehills

Marley Reynolds led all golfers with a 4-over-par 39 on the par-35 course to earn medalist honors for Honesdale. Julie Saylor shot a 40 with a birdie on the 11th hole, and Bella Johnson shot a 48 to complete Honesdale's team score of 127. Abby Flederbach added a round of 62.
Sophia Leonori led Scranton with a team-low score of 50. Olivia Coyne and Rhylee Bell each posted rounds of 55 to finalize Scranton's team total of 160. Jojo Paulino finished with a 65.
With the outcome, Honesdale improved to 1-0 in league play, while Scranton fell to 0-1.
