Holy Redeemer Lacrosse Triumphs Over Schuylkill Valley

Holy Redeemer hit the road to take on Schuylkill Valley in a thrilling lacrosse matchup today, ultimately coming away with a 14 to 10 victory after a competitive contest. Both offenses found their rhythm throughout the game, but Holy Redeemer managed to hold the edge when it mattered most.

For Holy Redeemer, Cali Glaser put on an exceptional performance, leading the charge with six goals and two assists. Glaser was also a disruptive force defensively, recording two caused turnovers and an impressive ten ground balls, while adding four draw controls. Not far behind was Gillian Parsons, who found the back of the net five times, contributed one caused turnover, scooped up eight ground balls, and dominated the draw with six draw controls. Emmie O'Shea and Izzy Wasley each added a goal to the Holy Redeemer tally, with Wasley also dishing out an assist and grabbing three ground balls. Hannah Fauerbach contributed a goal and a draw control. On the defensive end, Irelyn Curley was solid in goal, making ten saves to protect Holy Redeemer's lead.

Schuylkill Valley demonstrated strong offensive play of their own, pushing Holy Redeemer throughout the game. Gianna Kaylor led their scoring efforts with four goals, showcasing her offensive prowess. Olivia Webb was another key contributor for Schuylkill Valley, adding three goals. Ellie Kegres chipped in with two goals, and Grace Wysocki rounded out the scoring for Schuylkill Valley with one goal. The team battled hard, keeping the pressure on Holy Redeemer for the full sixty minutes.
