High-Scoring Affair: Twin Valley Tops Scranton Prep 11-9 in Playoff Thriller

Twin Valley advanced in the PIAA Boys AA Quarterfinal Round with an 11-9 victory over Scranton Prep in a hard-fought contest. The game showcased competitive lacrosse from both sides as teams battled for a spot in the next round.
Twin Valley’s offense was paced by Drew Engle, who netted four goals, and Maverick Foster, who contributed three goals and an assist. Colin Gallagher was also a significant offensive force, scoring two goals and adding an assist. Keenan Munn and Patrick Shanahan each tallied a goal to round out Twin Valley’s scoring. Cooper Glass was instrumental in setting up plays, recording two assists. On the defensive end, Sean Murphy made three saves in goal for Twin Valley.
Scranton Prep demonstrated strong offensive efforts throughout the game. Braedon McPartland led his team with an impressive performance, scoring four goals and dishing out three assists. Mackey Lynett was also a key playmaker, adding two goals and three assists. Jack Rully contributed two goals, while Robert Hogan found the back of the net once. Owen McPartland provided an assist. In goal, James Stallman made four saves, and Packy James recorded seven saves for Scranton Prep.
Scranton Prep concludes an incredible season following their spirited run to the quarterfinal round. The team and coaching staff, including Head Coach Keith Toolan and Assistant Coaches Brian Holmes, Robert Ide, and JJ Mullin, are to be congratulated for their dedicated work and accomplishments throughout the year.
