Blue Ridge 64, Lackawanna Trail 34

The game was tight for eight minutes. After that, Abigail Gelinger took over.

The Blue Ridge junior erupted for 17 second-quarter points, turning a 14-all opening frame into a runaway as the Lady Raiders stormed past Lackawanna Trail, 64–34, on the road.

Gelinger finished with a game-high 34 points, showcasing her full offensive arsenal, attacking off the dribble, knocking down shots from deep, and converting at the line. Her scoring burst fueled a 24–4 second quarter, instantly shifting the momentum and putting Blue Ridge firmly in control.

From there, the Lady Raiders never looked back. Lynndee Barbour added 13 points, while Melodie Bloomer chipped in 10, giving Blue Ridge consistent production throughout the lineup.

Lackawanna Trail was paced by Ayla Siegle, who scored 20 points, but the Lady Lions struggled to find answers once Blue Ridge’s pressure intensified.

With Gelinger setting the tone, Blue Ridge delivered one of its strongest all-around efforts of the season,  fast, aggressive, and relentless.
