The Freedom Patriots defeated the Parkland Trojans in a decisive home conference game on Thursday, with a final score of 10-0. The Patriots' offense exploded in the middle innings, securing the victory in five innings.

After two scoreless frames, Freedom broke the game open in the bottom of the third, putting up four runs. They added another six runs in the fifth inning to reach the 10-run mercy rule threshold. The Patriots tallied 13 hits in total, showcasing a potent offensive performance, while holding the Trojans to just four hits throughout the game. Parkland's defense remained solid, committing no errors, but could not stem the tide of Freedom's bats.

For the Freedom Patriots, B. Pronovich led the charge with a standout performance, collecting three hits, including a home run, and driving in four runs. Payton Besecker added two hits, including a triple, and scored one run. Namelia Duro also contributed significantly with two hits, a double, and one RBI, while also scoring a run. Brooke Rummel notched one hit and brought in two runs, scoring twice herself. Christina Kish chipped in with a double and an RBI. On the pitching mound, Namelia Duro was dominant for Freedom, throwing a complete game shutout. She allowed only three hits and one walk over five innings, striking out five Parkland batters.

The Parkland Trojans struggled to generate offense against Duro. Sarah Linko, Libby Pinkham, A. Fritzinger, and Cheyanne Brawn each managed a single hit for the Trojans. A. Fritzinger's hit was a double. Parkland's Libby Pinkham also drew the team's only walk. The Trojans left four runners on base over the course of the game.
