Fair Lawn Overpowers Wyoming Valley West With Three-Goal Second-Half Surge in 6-2 Win

Fair Lawn defeated Wyoming Valley West 6-2 in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
Fair Lawn took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Nico Imburgia scored the opening goal at 14:07 off an assist from Nithin Thomas. Imburgia scored again at 36:05 following an assist from Anthony Dvirts.
Wyoming Valley West got on the board at 40:57 in the second half when Eli Sieminski scored on an assist from Noah Fetko. Dvirts extended the Fair Lawn lead to 3-1 with an unassisted goal at 49:54. Fetko scored for Wyoming Valley West at 54:31 with an assist from Ayden Heffron, making the score 3-2.
Fair Lawn followed with three consecutive goals to close the match. Ian Soares scored at 60:33 off a pass from Valentino Longobardi. Dvirts scored his second goal of the match at 63:51 off an assist from Sebastian Martinez. Matt Polevoy finished the scoring at 77:49 on an assist from Max Akamba.
Fair Lawn totaled 24 shots and nine corner kicks, while Wyoming Valley West finished with seven shots and four corner kicks. Yoad Avda made two saves for Fair Lawn, and Sergio Gonzalez stopped six shots for Wyoming Valley West.
