The University of Scranton announced that head women’s basketball coach Ben O’Brien has accepted the head coaching position at Lafayette College.

O’Brien leaves after four seasons leading the Lady Royals, during which the program continued to compete at a high level and added to its strong tradition with multiple conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances.
