Cooper Sipe Fires Match-Low 41 to Lead Elk Lake Past Carbondale

Elk Lake defeated Carbondale Area 179-211 in a Lackawanna League boys golf match at Panorama Golf Course.
Cooper Sipe shot a match-low 41 on the par-35 course to earn medalist honors for Elk Lake. Parker Stone followed with a round of 43, Colby Ruark carded a 45, and Tyler Campbell scored a 50 to complete the Warriors counting total. Jayden Sample added a 52 and Benson Holley shot a 55.
Mitchell Masco led Carbondale Area with a team-low score of 46. Connor Ancherani carded a birdie on the 14th hole on his way to a round of 55. Jack Moran and Cole Becchetti also shot rounds of 55, while Gabrielle Kielar finished with a 65.
