Clutch ABA Sweeps Two-Game Weekend, Rises to No. 4 Nationally

The Clutch ABA continued their dominant run this weekend, turning in two convincing home victories to remain undefeated and climb the national rankings. With wins over the Philly Thunder on Saturday and the Connecticut Surge on Sunday, Clutch improved to 11–0 on the season and announced themselves as one of the premier teams in the country.

Saturday: Clutch 116, Philly Thunder 94

Clutch opened the weekend with an emphatic 116–94 victory over the 7-3 Philly Thunder, moving to 10–0 on the season. The offense was clicking from the opening tip, and the depth of the roster was on full display.

Jamie Calloway led the way with a standout performance, pouring in 28 points while dishing out five assists. Rookie Kevin Lazdowsky continued his impressive debut season, scoring 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Rasheed Moore stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, showcasing his all-around impact.

George Tinsley added 14 points, while Lamont Tillery chipped in 10 to round out a balanced scoring effort that proved too much for the Thunder to handle.

Sunday: Clutch 126, Connecticut Surge 94

On Sunday, Clutch faced a tough test against the Connecticut Surge in their second home game of the weekend. The result, however, was even more decisive. Clutch dominated on both ends of the floor, cruising to a 126–94 win.

Rasheed Moore and George Tinsley each recorded double-doubles to pace the attack. Moore finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Tinsley posted 19 points and 10 boards. Newcomer Kevin Major made an immediate impact, scoring 18 points on an efficient 9-for-11 shooting from the field.

Will Johnson, playing his first full weekend since returning from injury and surgery, added 13 points and was perfect from the free-throw line, going 6-for-6. Tyriek Stewart contributed 11 points, and Quan Ingram was a force on the glass with nine rebounds.

Undefeated and Rising

With the two wins, Clutch improved to 11–0 and moved up to No. 4 in the national rankings. As one of the few remaining undefeated teams, Clutch continues to build momentum and establish itself as a legitimate title contender.

After a huge weekend on their home floor, Clutch ABA showed once again that their blend of scoring, depth, and defensive intensity makes them a problem for anyone in the league.
