Blue Ridge edged Montrose on a fifth-player tiebreaker after both squads finished deadlocked with scores of 182 in a golf match at par-35 Tall Pines.Grayson Bishop delivered the decisive fifth score for Blue Ridge by carding a 49. Jax Decker and Tyler Soden led Blue Ridge with matching rounds of 44, while Chris Kowalewski shot a 46 and Brennan Woosman carded a 48.
Matt Dovin of Montrose took match medalist honors with a 2-over-par round of 37. David Newman posted a 44, Victoria Kipar recorded a 49, Joey Cudo finished with a 52, and Eddie Leonard turned in a 55 for Montrose.
