Northwest put together a dominant offensive performance to roll past Bucktail, 11–0, in a five-inning contest at Shickshinny.
Garrett Bau led the charge for the Rangers, delivering a standout game at the plate. He ripped a triple and drove in four runs, providing the spark for an offense that never let up. Bau’s production set the tone early and helped Northwest build a lead that quickly got out of reach.
Max Voyton also contributed in a big way, collecting two hits and scoring twice. The Rangers’ lineup showed depth throughout, with multiple players chipping in key hits and RBIs. Cole Kavulick added a double and drove in a run, while Paul Voyton knocked in two. C. Ide contributed with a double and an RBI as well.
On the mound, Cole Kablick earned the win, backing up the strong offensive showing with a solid pitching effort. He worked efficiently and kept Bucktail’s hitters off balance, allowing minimal opportunities. Bucktail managed just one hit in the game, a triple from G. Pick, but couldn’t turn it into any runs.
Northwest wasted no time getting started, plating runs early and continuing to pile on with a five-run fifth inning to seal the mercy-rule victory. Their aggressive approach at the plate and consistent contact proved too much for Bucktail to handle.
With the win, the Rangers improved to 7–3 and now turn their attention to an upcoming matchup on the road at Mahanoy Area.
