District 2 Well Represented on the 2026 Pennsylvania All-State Softball Teams

The Pennsylvania Softball High School Coaches Association released their 2026 All-State teams. Several District 2 players took home awards and nominations.


Here’s a look at each player that was named to the All-State teams. 


5A Player of the Year

Avary Brister, OF, Abington Heights


Brister was the best hitter in District 2 and led the 5A State runner-ups in every major offensive category. She hit .598 with 8 home runs, 55 hits, 16 doubles and 44 RBIs.


5A Pitcher of the Year

Adrianna Condrad, Abington Heights


The Syracuse commit showcased her talents all season long with an 18-2 record and an ERA of 1.50. Condrad struck out 191 batters across 116.1 innings.


4A Player of the Year

Abbi Call, P, Valley View


Call was the most complete player in the district. She led the Cougars to their second straight state title and pitched over 50 scoreless innings in the playoffs. She also hit .615 with 10 home runs, including the game-winner against Tunkhannock in the district championship. She will continue her softball career at Clemson.


4A Pitcher of the Year

Michaela Howell, Tunkhannock


Howell’s freshman campaign sets her up to be the next great pitcher in the WVC. She pitched every inning for a Tunkhannock team that went 21-2. She owned a 1.77 ERA and struck out 191 batters. She held Valley View to one run in the district title game, the lowest total the Cougars scored in a playoff game. 


3A Pitcher of the Year

Hannah Chipego, Lake-Lehman


Chipego leaves for James Madison as the career WVC strikeouts leader. She pitched to a 0.47 ERA her senior year with 233 strikeouts.


6A Second Team


Mia Tallo, C, West Scranton


Tallo led West Scranton to the District 2 6A championship and subregional final. She hit .471 with 32 hits and 27 RBIs, all team highs. 


Saige Klesh, 1B, Hazleton Area


Klesh hit .455 at leadoff her senior year. She led the team in batting average and hits with 20.


Kayla Lagowy, SS, Hazleton Area


Lagowy hit .359 with 14 hits and a team leading 20 RBIs as a senior. 


5A First Team


Eva Kane, 2B, Abington Heights


Kane was the leadoff hitter for the Comets and hit .470 on the season. She was also third on the team in hits with 39 and played strong defense up the middle.


Avarie Roscioli, OF, North Pocono


Roscioli led the Trojans in batting average, hits, home runs, runs scored and RBIs. She hit .536 with 30 hits, 4 homers and 19 RBIs.


5A Second Team


Amelia Bell, P, North Pocono


Bell was the ace of the Trojans with 16 appearances and a 12-3 record. She had a 2.23 ERA and 88 strikeouts across 84.2 innings.


Lilianna Hintze, SS, Pittston Area


Hintze was second on the team in batting average, she hit .465. She was second on the team with 33 hits and fifth in RBIs with 17. 

Samantha Herbert, UTL, Pittston Area


Herbert was the staff ace with an ERA of 3.00 and 81 strikeouts across 116.2 innings. She also hit .443 and led the Patriots in hits, doubles and RBIs. 


4A First Team


Addisyn Waterman, 2B, Tunkhannock


Waterman led a very talented Tigers squad in batting average, hits, runs scored and stolen bases. She hit .471 with 33 hits and stole an incredible 39 bases.


4A Second Team


Mackenzie Bevan, C, Tunkhannock


Bevan set the single-season home run record for a catcher with 11. She tore the cover off the ball and hit .373 and was one of the best defensive catchers in the district. 


Ella Swingle, 2B, Valley View


Swingle hit .341 in her senior season and led the team in triples with 4. She will continue her softball career at Division 1 LeMoyne.


Kianna Hannon, 3B, Tunkhannock


Hannon made an impact as a sophomore with a .373 batting average and a .941 fielding percentage. She had 25 hits, second best on the team. 


Josephine Kivak, OF, Wyoming Area


Kivak had a monster sophomore campaign where she hit .536 with 30 hits, scored 30 runs, drove in 22 runs and launched five home runs. She led the team in every major offensive stat. 


Zoie Krupovich, OF, Valley View


Krupovich was the unsung hero of Valley View’s state title run. She hit .414 with 36 hits, 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. She had 6 hits and 5 RBIs during the state tournament. 


3A First Team


Ava Hazleton, P, Mid Valley


Hazleton will be one of the state’s top returning pitchers in 2027. The junior went 20-4 with a 1.94 ERA. She struck out 240 batters across 151.2 innings. 

Kaitlyn Brudnicki, C, Lake-Lehman


Brudnicki was the other half of the elite Lake-Lehman battery. On offense, she hit .491 with 28 hits, scored 34 runs, drove in 16 runs and led the team in homers with 6. 


Parker Bennett, 3B, Mid Valley


Bennett was a key piece as the Spartanettes made their second straight state semifinals. She hit .432 with 32 hits, 24 RBIs and a team-leading 11 doubles. 


3A Second Team


Hannah DeStefano, 1B, Western Wayne


DeStefano hit .406 on the year with 26 hits and 16 RBIs. She also crushed a team-best 5 home runs.


Julia Sholtis, 3B, Lake-Lehman


Sholtis made an immediate impact as a freshman. She hit .552 with 32 hits, tied for the team lead. She was second on the team in RBIs with 22 and third in doubles with 7. 


Angela Laskowski, SS, Mid Valley


Laskowski hit .455 on the year. She led the team in hits with 40 and RBIs with 35. She was second in home runs with 5. 


Marley Morano, OF, Mid Valley


Morano led a deep squad in batting average as she hit .478. She collected 33 hits and scored 23 runs. 


Adysen Wargo, UTL, Western Wayne


Wargo was the Wildcats ace and biggest offensive threat. She recorded 89 strikeouts in the circle. She hit .427 with 27 hits, 19 RBIs and 5 doubles, all team highs. 


2A First Team


MycKenna Kublo, C, Montrose


MycKenna led the Meteors in nearly every major offensive category. She hit .554 with 41 hits, 8 doubles, 4 triples, scored 37 runs and drove in 34 RBIs.


Kyleise Kublo, OF, Montrose


Kyleise was another key piece to the Montrose offense. She hit .462 with 36 hits, a team-best 35 RBIs, 8 doubles and a team-high 8 homers. 


Brynn Warrnier, OF, Elk Lake


Warriner hit and even .500 on the season, scored a team-high 28 runs and collected 30 RBIs. She was second on the team in hits, 28, and home runs, 5. 


Rachel Walsh, UTL, Dunmore


Walsh was a two-way star for Dunmore. She pitched 83 innings and struck out 75 batters to the tune of a 3.37 ERA. On offense, she hit .440 with 33 hits, 7 doubles, 6 home runs and 30 RBIs, all team highs. 


2A Second Team


Lydia Howell, C, Elk Lake


The sophomore had an outstanding season where she hit .524 with 33 hits. 14 of those hits were for extra bases, which included 6 triples.


Zoe Pecuch, 1B, Holy Redeemer


Pecuch collected 24 hits and hit .407. Of those 24 hits, 9 were triples. 


Celeste Clark, 2B, Elk Lake


Clark hit .396 with 21 hits and 24 RBIs as a senior. She homered 6 times which led the team and played great defense at second. 


1A First Team


Ava Schmidt, P, Holy Cross


Schmidt was a two-way force at Holy Cross, but her work in the circle gets the accolade. She pitched 150 innings, allowed 34 earned runs and struck out 224 batters. That’s good for a 1.59 w.


Peyton Graboske, C, Holy Cross


Graboske was behind the plate and one-half of the best battery in District 2. She hit .481 with 38 hits, 39 RBIs and 11 home runs, including the game-winner in the state semifinal over Tri-Valley. 


Lila Kolcharno, 2B, Holy Cross


Kolcharno hit .353 with a mix of average and power. Of her 30 hits, 10 went for extra bases. 


Claire Helring, OF, Holy Cross


Helring hit .444 on the year with 32 hits and 19 RBIs. She hit 6 home runs and always met the moment in big at-bats. 


1A Second Team


Jules Galella, SS, Holy Cross


Galella was the fifth Crusader named to the all-state team. She batted .419 with 36 hits, 32 RBIs and 4 homers. 


Lillianna Lenceski, SS, Old Forge


Lenceski hit .551 on the season and led the team in batting average and hits with 27. She got on base to set up her teammates and served well as a leadoff hitter.

Ava Arnold, OF, Old Forge


Arnold batted .370 with 21 hits and 18 RBIs. She led the team in home runs with 3.
