Dallas used a mix of early offense and late power to earn a 7-2 win over Wallenpaupack on Tuesday.
Kaden Coyne got the Mountaineers started with an RBI single in the first, then added a run-scoring double in the second. Jude Nocito also drove in a run with a double down the right field line.
Dominick Zangardi delivered the big blow in the fifth, launching a two-run homer to right field. Dylan Geskey added an RBI single in the same inning to extend the lead.
Nick Bednar started for Dallas, allowing one run over four innings. Dylan Chapman pitched in relief.
Coyne went 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the offense. Zangardi also drove in two.
Wallenpaupack was led by hits from Cade Pittenger, JJ Blaum, and Greg Van Gorder, who also drove in a run.
