Wyoming Area continued its strong start to the season with a dominant 5-1 victory over Nanticoke. The Lady Warriors controlled possession throughout, outshooting the hosts 25-1 and creating constant pressure in the attacking third.
Jules Potter opened the scoring midway through the first half, finishing off a pass from Teagan Meier at the 35:13 mark. Just over 10 minutes later, Ava Musinski extended the lead, striking home a feed from Potter to give Wyoming Area a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.
Nanticoke’s only chance came early in the second half when Emily Duda capitalized at 39:03 to trim the deficit to 2-1. But from there, Wyoming Area’s offense overwhelmed the Trojanettes. Sofia Menta restored momentum with a goal at 20:42, set up by Kinley Park and Musinski. Potter added her second of the night on an assist from Elliah Yankovich at 8:03, and Alana Zdaniewicz capped the scoring with a late tally off Meier at 1:43.
Nanticoke’s goalkeepers, Penelope Serrano and Lillian Larson, combined for 20 saves under heavy pressure, while Wyoming Area keeper Abi Francis was untested.
With six different players registering either a goal or an assist, the Lady Warriors showcased their depth and balance in the 5-1 win.
