At Wyoming Area’s Jake Sobeski Stadium, it wasn’t just another summer evening—it was a homecoming, a celebration, and a rite of passage all rolled into one. Dozens of Warrior hopefuls, joined by parents, siblings, and fans, flooded the field for the highly anticipated Wyoming Area Alumni Ring of Pride Camp—a staple event that continues to grow in passion, presence, and pride.

From the moment the gates opened, the energy was electric. Big and small, girl and boy, mom and dad, entire families came ready—not just to watch, but to experience. Coach Randy Spencer, surrounded by his decorated staff and a lineup of Warrior legends, welcomed the next generation to the hallowed grounds of “The Jake.”

There’s no other camp quite like it. This isn’t just a youth clinic—it’s a living, breathing celebration of Warrior Football history, fueled by the alumni who built it and the kids who dream of becoming part of it.

Headlining the event were two of the biggest names in program history:

▪️Dominic DeLuca, State Champion WA QB1 and current Penn State senior captain, drew a roaring crowd as he returned to where his football story began.

▪️Aaron Crossley, WA great and Patriot League Champion RB at Lehigh University, brought his explosive energy and inspirational story back to the field.

They weren’t alone.

From every era, Warrior greats returned to give back—coaching, encouraging, and sharing the legacy passed down to them by the legendary Coach Paul Marranca, the architect of the Warrior standard. The camp itself has become a beacon for excellence, driven forward by the unwavering commitment of Lou “Bikes” Ciampi, whose leadership continues to elevate WA Football with his “Kids First” mantra at the forefront.

While Ciampi may not be a Warrior alum by diploma, he’s earned his stripes in gold and green, dedicating year after year to strengthening the foundation of Warrior pride—on and off the field.

As young athletes participated in position drills, fundamentals, and game scenarios, coaches and alumni alike watched closely. Many of Wyoming Area’s most iconic names first took the field at this very camp. It’s where talent gets its first test. It’s where the Warrior dream begins.

With every rep, every snap, and every ounce of sweat, the goal remained the same: to spark belief and build the next class of Warrior greatness.

Coach Spencer and his staff ensured that safety, fundamentals, and character remained at the core of the camp, while The Icon—Coach Marranca himself—stood proudly among the Ciampi family and the alumni whose lives he helped shape. Together, they continue to steward a legacy that now stretches across generations.

For the Greater Wyoming Area community and beyond, the Ring of Pride Camp isn’t just about football. It’s about connection. It’s about culture. It’s about coming home—and passing the torch to the future, one snap at a time.
