UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Western Wayne Wildcats football standout Vinny Baldini turned heads this past week at Penn State’s prestigious specialist camp, claiming first place in the punt snap competition against a field of top-tier long snappers from across the region.
Baldini also impressed in the field goal snapping competition, finishing second overall. His strong showing marks his first specialist camp title and serves as a major step forward in his summer recruiting journey.
“Super pumped to get my first camp win on such a big stage,” Baldini shared via social media, giving credit to Penn State’s Coach Stacy Collins, Coach Blaise Smith, and Coach Dennis Long for their instruction and support during the camp.
With momentum on his side, Baldini is looking to continue dominating the camp circuit this summer as he builds toward his senior season with the Wildcats.
