Valley View Shuts Out Scranton Prep 3–0 on Senior Night Behind Gillen’s Two-Goal Performance

Valley View celebrated Senior Night in style, delivering a commanding 3–0 victory over Scranton Prep.
After a scoreless first half, the Cougars erupted in the second, with Callie Gillen opening the scoring at the 42:37 mark off a setup from Aubrey O’Donnell. Just minutes later, Gillen struck again, this time finishing a pass from Abby Davis to double the lead. With just over ten minutes remaining, Mya Cesarini capped the night with a goal assisted by Gillen at 69:35, sealing the win for Valley View.

The Cougars dominated throughout, outshooting Scranton Prep 22–2 and holding a 5–0 edge in corner kicks. Goalie Emmelia Rucks recorded a clean sheet without needing a save, while Scranton Prep’s Chloe Mamera tallied 17 stops in a busy night in goal.
