Jessup Youth Sports Complex — The nightcap under the lights did not disappoint—unless you were facing the red-hot bats and locked-in pitching of Valley View. The Cougars came out firing on all cylinders, cruising to a commanding 11-1 win over Wallenpaupack in District 32 11U action on Monday night.

From first pitch to final out, Valley View brought the energy—and the offense—stacking up 15 hits and executing in all phases of the game.

Valley View’s Complete Team Effort

Kody Malinowski did it all, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs including a big double in the second inning that helped break things open.

Mason Buczynski was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with an RBI double to spark the second-inning rally.

Talon Prutzman delivered on both sides of the ball—he fanned 7 batters in 4 hitless innings on the mound and added an RBI double at the plate.

Valley View jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, then padded it with four more in the second. They worked the zone well too, drawing 8 walks while staying disciplined and aggressive. The defense backed them up with zero errors, led by Bryce Warnetsky with eight clean chances in the field.

Wallenpaupack Highlights

Gaige D knocked in the team’s only run and added a base hit to cap a strong showing at the plate.

Jake S and Patrick T each chipped in hits for Paupack, showing flashes in a tough matchup.

Despite the loss, Wallenpaupack continued to battle at the plate and showed grit in the field against a tough Valley View lineup.

Final Word

Valley View proved they’re one of the squads to watch in District 32 with a performance that checked all the boxes—dominant pitching, timely hitting, and clean defense. Wallenpaupack had their moments, but the Cougars took control early and never let it go.

The summer’s heating up in Jessup—and this 11U bracket is just getting started.
