Valley View delivered a statement performance Monday night at Abington Little League, blanking Back Mountain 9-0 in a complete team effort that featured 11 hits, zero errors, and shutdown pitching from three different arms.

Mason Buczynski, Elio Brunori, and Talon Prutzman combined for six shutout innings, allowing just five hits while striking out nine. Buczynski got the start and was sharp over 3.1 innings, striking out five and walking just one. Brunori and Prutzman each followed with 1.1 clean innings, striking out two apiece, with Prutzman earning the win in relief.

Valley View opened the scoring early as Bryce Warnetsky delivered an RBI single in the first. In the second inning, the offense came alive behind a single from Brady Scoblick, a walk to Jacob Luchansky, and RBI contributions from Rocco Forgione and Buczynski to spark a four-run frame.

Forgione was a force at the top of the order, going 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Scoblick also finished 2-for-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, while Warnetsky added a 2-for-3 line with an RBI and 10 defensive chances behind the plate. Elio Brunori doubled and drove in one, while AJ Moyles, Talon Prutzman, and Enzo Nicastro each tallied hits. The lineup showed strong plate discipline, drawing seven walks and striking out just seven times.

On the other side, Back Mountain found hits scattered throughout the lineup. Oliver B had the only extra-base hit with a double and also pitched 1.2 shutout innings with two strikeouts. Ethan W, Andrew S, Isaac T, and Matthew W all added singles. Isaac T turned in a solid game behind the plate with eight clean plays.

Four pitchers toed the rubber for Back Mountain. Mac H started and allowed three runs in the first. Parker P faced five batters and struggled with command. Oliver B was strong in relief, and Brian V pitched the final 2.1 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out three.

With the win, Valley View advances confidently behind depth, defense, and timely bats.
