SUSQUEHANNA, PA -- There’s nothing quite like summer nights at Penn Can Speedway, nestled in the rolling hills of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. The roar of dirt-fueled horsepower. The rush of fans rising to their feet. The hum of laughter and the scent of concession stand goodness floating through the grandstands. It's more than just a racetrack—it's the beating heart of community motorsports in Northeastern PA.
With its deep roots and accessible family atmosphere, Penn Can Speedway is a weekly pilgrimage for motorsport fans and families alike. Whether you're a lifelong gearhead or a curious first-timer, you’ll find high-speed excitement and a welcoming crowd that makes you feel right at home. From Modifieds to 600cc Sprints, Factory Stocks to 4 Cylinders, there’s a division for everyone to fall in love with.
The 2025 race calendar is stacked with themed events, tribute nights, and full-throttle competition nearly every weekend. But on June 13th, a night that started with horsepower ended with heart—and bikes. Lots of bikes.
15 Years of Heart: Bike Night 2025
In its 15th year, Bike Night proved once again why it’s one of the most anticipated events of the season. Spearheaded by Gary Folk Jr. and his daughter Olivia, what began as a spontaneous idea born out of a friendly bet has blossomed into a cherished tradition, embodying everything great about small-town racing culture.
This year, 200 bicycles were handed out to local kids—every single child in attendance walked away with a bike of their own. Thanks to donations from businesses, race teams, fans, and total strangers, the dream that once started with 36 bikes now delivers unforgettable memories and wide-eyed joy.
From the early years of kids donating the bikes they won to others, to local fans replacing stolen bikes before the night was over, Bike Night has always represented the best of racing culture: generosity, gratitude, and grassroots unity.
