Moscow, PA -- The 2025 Walter Godek Twilight Invitational lit up the night at North Pocono High School as the region's top athletes & Schools delivered a showcase of elite performances, meet records, and thrilling finishes. With over 25 schools represented, both the boys’ and girls’ competitions were stacked with talent, and the action on the track and in the field lived up to the hype.

Boys Division Highlights
Team Champion: Dunmore surged to the top with 70.33 points, narrowly holding off Pittston Area (56) and Crestwood (55) in a fiercely competitive team battle.
Sprint Kings:
Jalen Moore (Pittston Area) blazed his way to double gold in the 100m (11.71) and 200m (22.95), while also finishing second in the 400m.
Tommy Clark (Dunmore) delivered a dominant run in the 400m (49.88) and helped set a new meet record in the 1600m relay (3:26.40), teaming with Cole Fangio, Ryan Mecca, and Gabe Franek.
Distance Elite:
Kendel Jones (Elk Lake) stole the show in the long runs, winning both the 1600m (4:27.85) and 3200m (9:49.45) in impressive solo efforts.
Teammate Cody Adams and Matthew Repecki (Mid Valley) also dipped under 10 minutes in the 3200m.
Hurdle Domination: Cole Fangio (Dunmore) swept the hurdles, taking the 110m (16.40) and 300m (40.70), while also contributing to the historic 4x400 win.
Relay Brilliance:
Valley View won a tight 4x100 relay (44.14), with just .68 seconds separating the top six teams.
Lake-Lehman impressed in the 3200 relay (8:24.64) behind a strong anchor from Bodhi Cronin.
Field Event Firepower:
Caden Newswanger (Tunkhannock) captured the javelin with a throw of 164-6, edging out strong challengers from Pittston and Wyoming Area.
Gino Pirolli (Crestwood) and Ryan Vargo (Wallenpaupack) both cleared 154 feet in the discus, putting on one of the day’s top throwing duels.
Bodhi Cronin (Lake-Lehman) took gold in the triple jump (42-10), while Brayden Rose (Riverside) leaped to a 20-8.5 mark in the long jump.

Girls Division Highlights
Team Champion: Crestwood outpaced the field with 83 points, followed by Delaware Valley (53) and Wyoming Area (49) in a tight top-three finish.
Athlete of the Meet: Natalie Talluto (Mid Valley) stole the spotlight with three golds: 100m (13.09), 100m hurdles (15.98), and 300m hurdles (46.80) — a complete sprint-hurdle sweep.
Record-Breaking Runs:
Kate Korty (Carbondale) crushed the meet record in the 400m (58.03) and 800m (2:18.02).
Katie Kozuch (Crestwood) made history in the 3200m (11:09.53), breaking a record set just last year.
Relay Royalty:
Wyoming Area’s squad of Stoss, Kearns, Costa, and McKernan swept the 3200 relay (10:01.24) and 1600 relay (4:10.55), showing tremendous team depth.
Delaware Valley secured the 400 relay title (50.61) with a strong anchor leg from Emma Simmons.
Field Event Excellence:
Nevaeh Baran (Nanticoke) shattered records in both the Long Jump (17-6) and Triple Jump (37-9.5).
Bryn Woodruff (Towanda) broke a seven-year meet record in the javelin (132-3).
Liliana Coe (Delaware Valley) soared to 11-6 in the pole vault.
