Tunkhannock Builds Lead in Middle Quarters to Defeat Western Wayne

Tunkhannock used a balanced offensive effort and strong perimeter shooting to secure a 52–34 nonleague win over Western Wayne on Tuesday night at Tunkhannock. The Tigers led 14–10 after one quarter and continued to apply pressure, holding Western Wayne to 15 points combined in the second and third quarters while extending their advantage to double digits heading into the final frame.


Bode Lukasavage led all scorers for Tunkhannock with 19 points, while Luke Chilson connected on four three-point field goals and finished with 12 points. Elijah Faux added eight points for the Tigers, who totaled 11 made three-pointers in the victory. Western Wayne was led by Xavier James with 15 points, and Jacob Lawlor contributed eight, but the Wildcats were limited to 10 made field goals in the loss.
