When you think of dominance on the diamond, look no further than Abington Heights’ junior phenom, Nick Bradley.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound right-hander has been electric on the mound and just as dangerous at the plate, and now he’s earned one of the highest honors in high school sports: Gatorade Pennsylvania Baseball Player of the Year for 2024-2025.

Bradley led the Comets to a 17-4 season and a trip to the District II Class 5A semifinals with a mind-blowing 0.39 ERA in over 53 innings pitched, striking out 86 batters while walking only 9—good for an eye-popping 0.509 WHIP. Opposing hitters barely stood a chance, batting just .104 against him throughout the season.

And when he wasn’t baffling hitters with a lethal mix of fastball, curve, and changeup? He was crushing baseballs. Bradley also batted .478 with a .506 OBP and a 1.245 OPS, cementing himself as one of the most complete two-way players in the nation.

Baseball America ranks him as the No. 156 national prospect in the Class of 2025, and those who’ve watched him know his ceiling is even higher.

But Bradley’s impact goes beyond stats. A strong student with a 94.4 weighted average, he’s volunteered at cemeteries, helped repair grave sites, and coaches youth players—embodying the kind of character Gatorade celebrates with this award. He joins an elite fraternity that includes MLB stars like Clayton Kershaw and Gary Sheffield.

As the award's 40th anniversary season continues to honor greatness, Nick Bradley's name is now etched among the nation's best.
