Pittston, PA – On a night dedicated to Coaches vs. Cancer, Pittston Area delivered a strong performance on the court and in their community, securing a 57-35 victory over Valley West. The Patriots jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, using a balanced offensive attack and tough defense to control the game.
Giardina Leads the Charge
Silvio Giardina led Pittston Area with 16 points, knocking down six field goals and adding a pair of free throws. Lucas Lopresto followed with nine points, while John Jadus and Paul Jordan McGarry each contributed eight to round out a deep offensive effort.
Terry Shines for Valley West
Despite the loss, Navion Terry was a standout for Valley West, finishing with 13 points. Lemar Weatherspoon added seven, including the Wildcats' only three-pointer of the game.
