Dunmore, PA – It was a night of basketball and bravery at Dunmore High School as the Lady Bucks secured their 90th straight league victory, defeating Riverside 45-26 while continuing their Coaches vs. Cancer fundraising efforts. The event, led by six Dunmore seniors, aimed to support middle school teacher Megan Judge, who is currently undergoing treatment.

Talutto & Nidoh Lead the Charge

On the court, Sophia Talutto paced Dunmore with 18 points, while Michelle Nidoh followed closely with 17, ensuring the Lady Bucks (16-2, 10-0) remained undefeated in Lackawanna Division II play. Jackie Brown added six points, as Dunmore’s defense kept Riverside’s offense in check.

McCullon & Beecham Battle for Riverside

Riverside (8-10, 4-6) was led by Emily McCullon and Caitie Beecham, who each scored 10 points. Beecham was aggressive at the free-throw line, sinking six of seven attempts, while McCullon knocked down two three-pointers to spark the Lady Vikes’ second-half push.

A Night Bigger Than Basketball

As the Lady Bucks celebrated another league win, the night’s true victory was in the community’s outpouring of support for Megan Judge. With continued fundraisers, raffles, and donations planned throughout the week, Dunmore proved that their biggest fight isn’t on the court—it’s for one of their own.
